Complete Technical Guidelines
ARTE has made significant changes to its technical platform. New complete technical guidelines incorporate these changes (1080p50, UHD, HDR, XAVC, etc.) and came into effect on 1st January 2026.
However, for a period of one year, the delivery of programmes based on the Former Complete Technical Guidelines (ARTE V1-07-3) will continue to be accepted in terms of their technical elements (standards, formats, codecs, etc.) until December 31, 2026.

How to submit a project proposal to ARTE?
Most of our programmes are supplied by ARTE France and German national broadcasters ARD and ZDF as well as partner institutions. We therefore advise you to send your proposal directly to one of these organisations.
